Dave Finn is the Chief Executive Officer of Energy Research & Innovation Newfoundland & Labrador (formerly Petroleum Research Newfoundland and Labrador). Dave is a graduate of Memorial University where he completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture and a Masters in Ocean Engineering.  He has over 30 years of experience in applied research, strategic management, consulting and business development in the public and private sectors.

 

Dave has been with Energy Research and Innovation Newfoundland and Labrador and its predecessors for over 15 years. He was the lead for Energy Research and Innovation NL on the Ocean Supercluster initiative and currently serves on the NRC Ocean, Coastal and River Engineering Industry Advisory Committee, the Clean Resources Innovation Network (CRIN) Steering Committee, and the Genome Atlantic Board of Directors. Dave is also a member of the Advisory Committee for the Marine Institute’s Bachelor of Technology and Masters of Technology Management programs.
