Mr. Vegneshwaran specializes in bioprocessing, waste utilization and new product development of high-value nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals from unutilized marine biomass materials. Recently he has been working production of high-quality nutraceutical products such as food-grade salmon oil and protein from Atlantic salmon.
He holds a B.Tech. in Biotechnology and a MASc. in Biological Engineering. In addition, he is also enrolled as a Ph.D. student in Food Science. His thesis research focuses on the production of bioactive peptides from salmon processing waste.
